I have been working on Zane's Graduation album and it is taking up a lot of my time. I have to scrap in beween school work (Zane's summer school work) housework, play time and husband time. It does not leave me much time to scrapbook.

I have been scrapbooking a lot lately. My Grandson graduated from 6th grade and is going to Middle School. I was so proud of him. check my layout for new pages.

My Gall Stone Operation

I had surgery to remove my gall Stones this Monday the 18th of May 2009. Don't I look pitiful. It was outpatient and everything went great. I had no complication. I slept for two days after the surgery but now I am feeling almost like my OLD self.

Mother's Day

My Granddaughter Faith was dedicated in her church in Pensacola Fl. Sunday and her sister Alexis sang in a special Mother's Day choir. It was the best day ever. I creid when I heard Alexis sing and when Faith was dedicated. After church I drove home and had supper with my Mother and sisters and brother at Applebee's

My weekend with Zane

I always have a blast when my Grandson Zane comes to stay with me. He is a loving, funny and love to cook and eat. He cooked spagetti dinner for my husband and I. The next day it was hot so he cooled off in a tub of water.

Went to Florida to see son's family

My sister Sandra and I went to Pensacola Florida to visit my son and his family. While we were there we stopped at the only Scrapbook store there. We had to buy something to help her out. We also got to watch my son coach flag football. His daughter and son both play on the team.

I just posted my new freebie a Plaid kit. I got bored and was playing around with some gradients on my Photoshop Elemenets and came up with the papers. I added frames, buttons and clips to the mix and before you know it I had a kit going on. It was a lot of fun to make so check out my freebie page to download my newest creation.

Designing

I never knew it was so much fun to design something for scrapbooking. I guess that is because I love to scrapbook. My sister Sandra has gotten me into this Blogging thing and designing thing full force. We are learning together how to use Photoshop Elements 6 and Paint shop Pro. It is fun to learn new tricks even tho you are a old dog. Just a joke. We both have cats and love to scrap their funny antics. My husband is always telling me to get my camera so I take a picture of something new our four cats have done or are doing. I have not done much layouts since I have learning Elements. I work on it all day. Hopefully I will get somethign done for the Lucky Blog Train coming up in March.

Charity Faith Howard

I would like to announce my newest Granddaughter Charity Faith Howard. I have been in Pensacola florida for the past week to visit her. She had a rough time when she was born on the 19th of February 2009. she weighed only 5' 10" and was 18 inches long. She is a tiny thing but doing great after six days in the hospital.

Hi Everyone! After a long rest from posting on my blog, I ready to begin posting about my newest project. I'm not sure if you heard about this project or not. It is not new, as it has made the rounds on the internet. This is a project where you take a photo everyday. I'm not a photographer, but I think I secretly want to try to be one. This project really appealed to me as I have begun to like to have to do something artful daily. Even if it is one part pertaining to the overall project. The photo requirement for each day is wide open. It can be anything, especially the ordinary! Just a snippet of your life everyday. Your likes, your loves, your hates, your pet peeves, etc. Totally fun and spontanious. I have never done anything like this before, but that is the challenge.

365 Day Tag Album

I have started my 365 day album and I will be taking pictures from my everyday life. I will be putting these pictures in my album for my children and Grandchildren to see. It might be fun to see what Grandma did in the 2000ths. I would have like to have one from my Mom and Grandparents. I think this a great idea for any one to do. We will see how it turns out.
